Arena 2D Guide Privacy & Browser Preferences
How this guide uses local storage, video players and optional services.
What the guide stores
The theme switch stores your light or dark choice in your browser. The character shortlist stores up to three Pokémon IDs under arena-guide-shortlist-v1. These picks are not sent to this website’s server or to the developer.
A shared shortlist link includes the selected Pokémon IDs in its query string. Anyone you give the link to can see those picks. Do not use a shortlist URL to include private information.
YouTube videos
Video viewing and gameplay pages contain YouTube players using youtube-nocookie.com. Players can connect to YouTube when the iframe loads, including before you press play. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no third-party data processing. YouTube’s policies apply to the embedded player.
Homepage preview images are stored with this site. Clicking a video-preview link opens a viewing page; clicking an external YouTube link opens YouTube directly.
Other video sources
The timestamped battle-preview page streams a press-hosted video file from Retro Dodo’s storage provider when you play it. It uses the browser’s native controls and does not download the video in advance through this guide. That host receives the media request.
Analytics and advertising
Optional audience measurement and advertising are disabled unless the site operator has configured those services and you allow them. If enabled, Google Analytics receives page paths and intentional interaction events, such as a video starting or an official-link click. Shortlist changes use Pokémon IDs; we do not send correction text, email addresses or search-field contents as events.
Configured Google advertising can use cookies or related storage under Google’s policies. Declining optional services keeps analytics and advertising scripts from being loaded by this guide. Embedded YouTube video players are described separately above.

Correction reports and external links
The correction helper prepares text in your browser. It does not upload or persist the report. If you contact the maintainer through a separately published channel, that provider handles the message. Developer-list subscriptions and votes are handled on Big Kid Nation’s site, under its own privacy notice.
Hosting and access logs
The host serving the deployed website may process request details such as IP addresses, browser information and requested URLs. The deployed host’s logging and retention settings are controlled by the operator; this static source project does not define a retention period.
Use your browser’s site-data settings to remove local preferences. For source or content issues, use the correction helper.
